Reconnecting to the Archetypal Feminine

In order to understand the wider concept of soul as a cosmic reality, of which we are a part, we need to be aware of the ancient traditions of the Divine Feminine.

This Seminar will bring to life the mythology and the images of the Feminine, including those which originate in Bronze Age Egypt and Sumeria, and were transmitted to Plato`s concept of the Anima-Mundi, the concept of the Shekinah in Kabbalah and the wonderful passages in the Old Testament and the Gnostic texts, where Wisdom as the Holy Spirit speaks to the world.

The Seminar will also explore how the radical imbalance and repression of the Feminine and of women in our culture arose and how the myth of the Fall of Man destroyed the pre-Christian awareness that the earth and the life it embraced was an organic, living and sacred whole.

Finally, it will show the need to reconnect the conscious mind with the deeper matrix of the instinctual soul, so healing the split in our psyche.
